You might need working/reading/computer glasses, dedicated to be used for a distance that is different from the most common reading distance. Then you should have an extra pair of specialized glasses. Have someone measure the distance from your eyes to the area you needs to see clearly, and enter the distance, measured in the scale meter in this field. Your new special prescription, whether is is computer glasses or for working with jewellery will appear in your account "My prescriptions". This is primarily for single vision glasses, giving you the widest field of vision.

If you are ordering progressive glasses, based on a model you already have available, use a non permanent felt pen to make a mark on the lens directly in front of the pupil. Measure the vertical distance from the lower part of the lens to the center of the pupil in millimeters.

If you are ordering progressive glasses, based on a model you already have available, use a non permanent felt pen to make a mark on the lens directly in front of the pupil. Measure the vertical distance from the lower part of the frame to the center of the pupil in millimeters.

PD is normally measured by the optician, from center of one pupil to the center of the other. Measured with a traditional ruler. Average PD for a man is 64mm, for a woman 62mm.
